Features

The Lokotrack® LT106™ is equipped with the Nordberg® C106™ jaw crusher, which has a proven track record in the toughest of applications. It offers the best capacity and cost efficiency in the 40-tonne size class, with new features such as a radial side conveyor, high inertia flywheels and Metso IC™ process control system that utilises an ultrasonic material level sensor. The CAT® engine, with hydraulic drive, ensures trouble-free operation and enables the swinging function.

Lokotrack LT106’s compact dimensions and agility on tracks mean lower transport costs between and at crushing sites. Features

The new Lokotrack® LT130E™ mobile jaw crushing plant is an extremely robust primary crusher built by using heavy-duty steel elements. The LT130E has been designed for higher capacity requirements and even accepts larger feed material than its predecessor, the LT125™. During operation, LT130E is electrically driven. To minimise operational costs, an external power source is recommended. In locations where this is not possible, an integrated CAT® engine and 500 kVA generator power package ensures efficient operation.

The Nordberg® C130™ jaw crusher on the Lokotrack LT130E takes your capacity to a new level in large-scale quarry applications. A deeper 1,000 mm (40”) feed opening is able to handle coarser feed material and greatly reduces the need for blasting. Process overview

The Lokotrack LT130E can be optimised to move smoothly between different sites. All the electric and hydraulic connections have quick couplings for easy disassembly. Optimised lifting points and extensive platforms increase safety and enable you to move faster.

A new easy split feature makes your life much easier if you move the unit on a regular basis. Especially for use in contracting, you can operate without heavy cranes and set up the plant within a matter of hours. The easy split advantage utilises hydraulic cylinders to lift the crusher and feeder above the body of the Lokotrack LT130E. Then, the crusher and feeder can be transferred onto a standard trailer. The body of the LT130E can be driven to the trailer by using a remote controller – just as with all smaller Lokotrack mobile plants.

How it works

Features

Nordberg® C150™ jaw crusher offers outstanding performance in terms of operating lifetime and its ability to crush large feed material to required product sizes at high capacity rates. An extended feed opening not only accepts material up to one meter (40”), but also easily breaks it by the increased stroke at the top of the cavity. The tight nip angle in the middle of the cavity ensures the material is quickly transferred to the bottom of the cavity where the legendary Nordberg C jaw’s long stroke finishes the job.
Like all C series jaw crushers the Nordberg C150 is built out of premium quality components. The main frame structure is based on unique pinned and bolted connections without welded seams, the way only Metso can do it.

Process Overview

Nordberg C Series jaw crushers are most commonly used as primary crushers, to make the first step of size reduction. In some cases, the jaw crushers is used to produce final end product but in most cases the jaw crusher is used to prepare the feed for the secondary crusher in a crushing and screening process.

How it works

Nordberg C Series jaw crushers are overhead eccentric single toggle jaw crushers. The feed material is crushed between fixed and movable jaw dies. Movable jaw die is mounted to the pitman. Pitman motion (=kinematics) is defined by the eccentricity of the eccentric shaft and by the angle of the toggle plate. In Nordberg C Series jaw crushers, the angle of the toggle plate is so steep that it amplifies the stroke from the top of the cavity to the bottom of the cavity. The result is a long and linear stroke in the bottom of the cavity which ensures great productivity and high reduction ratio.

Cavity of the C Series jaw crushers works extremely efficiently from the very top to the bottom thanks to great feed opening dimensions, a good stroke up in the cavity, tight nip angle (angle between the fixed and movable jaw) and the long amplified linear stoke in the bottom of the cavity. The crusher size, weight, feed opening dimensions and capacity are all in good balance ensuring that with reasonable capital investment it is possible to process large feed and produce with good capacity. This ensures the best total economical feasibility of the primary crushing stage.
