Mining for 100-carat diamonds, quarrying the world’s hardest rock, recycling entire shopping centres, are all not simple applications. What separates the best operations from the rest is their ability to run efficiently and return high levels of profit from production.

Mining for 100-carat diamonds, quarrying the world’s hardest rock, recycling entire shopping centres, are all not simple applications. What separates the best operations from the rest is their ability to run efficiently and return high levels of profit from production. To make a substantial profit, you need high and consistent levels of production. To get maximum production, you need your plant and your equipment at maximum availability.
At Pilot Crushtec, we called on our design and engineering team to create the MAXIscalp 600 with exactly that objective in mind: maximum availability, minimum downtime. The 7m3 apron feeder, large and aggressive double-deck screenbox, wide discharge conveyors and heavy-duty support structure combine perfectly with Pilot Crushtec’s industry-leading after-sale support to minimise downtime and keep your plant available and productive. With minimal moving parts and the toughest design of any scalping screen on the market, the MAXIscalp 600 ensures the highest running time yet. That is how our equipment helps to maximise your profit.

The MAXIscalp 600 is the world’s first modular, static scalping plant. Combining Pilot Modular’s famous versatility, the ease and affordability of running a static plant and the ruggedness of a system developed in the unforgiving Northern Cape diamond mines, it’s the scalper that will separate you from the rest of the competition.

Twister-logo
Twister

Twister vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers produce “in spec”, high-quality cubically shaped aggregates and sand that meets today’s demanding specifications in contracting, civil engineering and construction projects.

Twister vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers produce “in spec”, high-quality cubically shaped aggregates and sand that meets today’s demanding specifications in contracting, civil engineering and construction projects. Vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers have been the backbone of the Pilot Crushtec International product line up for more than twenty years with the Twister crusher having established itself as a leader in vertical autogenous rock-on-rock crushing technology. With this rock-on-rock crushing principle that reduces expensive metal crushing parts, rock reduction and shaping can be achieved with low wear costs.

The Twister VSI static range – consisting of the AC06, AC07, AC208 and AC210 – has throughput capacities ranging between 10tph and 350tph. They are often used to turn waste and flaky materials into quality cubically shaped aggregate as well as consistently graded crusher sand for use as bituminous sand, mortar sand, plaster sand or high-quality concrete sand. The low cost and high reduction crushing makes the Twister crushers ideal for use in industrial mineral processing, pre-ball mill size reduction and glass recycling.

Twister semi-mobile crushers are standard, heavy-duty crushers supplied complete and ready to run. They are mounted on skid-frames, do not require concrete foundations and are designed for rapid installation and easy integration with the rest of our product range. These tried and tested crushers are designed to handle the harshest conditions and toughest rock in all types of applications.

Twister VSI crushers use two variations of VSI crushing. The first is vertical shaft impact crushing where rock is fed onto a table type rotor which accelerates and then discharges the rock at high speed against steel anvils in the crushing chamber. The impact of the rock against the steel anvils induces fracture and breaks the rock. The second variation is called vertical shaft autogenous (VSA) crushing, where rock is fed into a multi-port rotor which accelerates and then discharges the rock at high speed against a rock filled crushing chamber. The impact of rock on rock induces fracture, breaks and shapes the rock. This unique crushing action provides low wear costs, superior products and high reduction ratios.

The field-proven Twister VSI crushers are used all over the world in aggregate, industrial milling, recycling and mineral processing applications. With over 500 units in operation around the world, Twister VSI crushers are providing users with cost-effective, high quality and high-performance solutions for their tertiary and quaternary crushing requirements.

Pilot Crushtec International’s TwisterTrac VS350 is a fully-mobile, diesel hydraulic, remote-controlled, tracked Vertical Shaft Impact (VSI) crusher, used for manufacturing “in spec”, high-quality cubically shaped aggregates and sand. Ideally used as a third or fourth stage crusher, TwisterTrac VS350 is used all over the world in aggregate, industrial milling, recycling and mineral processing applications. This world leading product can be used on its own or easily integrated into mobile crushing plants. The tracked TwisterTrac VS350 was engineered from the ground up, making it fit-for-purpose unlike many so-called mobile crushers which are static machines adapted to accommodate the need for mobility.

The TwisterTrac has a variable speed belt feeder, a Twister VS350 vertical shaft impact crusher, hopper and belt feeder, a discharge conveyor and a diesel hydraulic power pack, all mounted on a heavy-duty track undercarriage with dual speed configuration, and 25-degree gradeability. The TwisterTrac is controlled via a relay logic control panel with push buttons, pilot lights and failsafe interlocks for ease of operation. The TwisterTrac VS350 has throughput capacities of up to 400tph with a touch button variable speed rotor which allows variation of the rotor between 1250rpm and 1650rpm providing the ability to adjust the crusher output or final product to suit ever changing job specifications. The machine has three simple operating modes – track, automatic and manual – with menu driven user interface.
