Features

Lokotrack® LT1213™ is easy to operate. The new radial side conveyor, hydraulic locking on the long main conveyor and feed hopper walls are examples of innovations used in the LT1213. The LT1213 can be fine-tuned for aggregate, quarry or recycling applications with features like a vibrating grizzly or pan feeder under the crusher.

The LT1213 features an advanced gearbox as standard. The Metso gearbox provides the most efficient crusher drive system on the market with assisted start and brake. An optimised hydraulic circuit with an independent fan and stand-by function gives up to 20% lower fuel consumption and more power for the crusher.

The crusher service rotation is carried out by a 24V hydraulic power pack. New tools are provided to help change the blow bars and breaker plates. Special attention is paid to access the service locations and trouble-free material flow. The stand-by function helps to save fuel and reduce noise when idling.

Process overview

Lokotrack LT1213 is a common unit in recycling applications, such as top soil, concrete, asphalt and demolition waste. It is also a perfect choice for limestone quarry applications. The LT1213 goes well with other Metso Lokotrack plants and it can utilise Metso’s ICr™ remote monitoring based wireless interlocking or interlocking cable.

How it works

Feed material is fed on to the feeder by excavator or wheel loader. Two stage scalping section removes the fines which can be guided to main conveyor or side conveyor. Output material size is controlled by crusher setting. Magnetic separator separates metal-based materials on the main conveyor when the crushed material is conveyed to the stockpile or the next Lokotrack on the process.

The Lokotrack® LT1213S™ is a fully equipped mobile impactor plant with a high-capacity, dual-slope screen and a return conveyor. The LT1213S can be transported as a single unit on a low bed trailer.

Features

The dual-slope screen and radial return conveyor provide high on-board screening capacity and makes the Lokotrack® LT1213S™ easy to operate in closed and open circuits. The screening unit can be docked in just a few minutes. The LT1213S can be fine-tuned for aggregate, quarry or recycling applications including asphalt, with features like a vibrating grizzly or pan feeder under the crusher.

How it works

The material is fed onto the feeder by an excavator or wheel loader. The two-stage scalping section removes the fines, which can be guided to the main conveyor or a 180° radial side conveyor. Nordberg NP1213 impact crusher crushes the feed material to the desired size. The output material size is controlled by the crusher’s setting. The crusher features a direct drive for the best efficiency.

Metso’s advanced dual-slope screen separates end products effectively and any oversize material can be returned to the crusher. The radial return conveyor can be turned to a 90° angle when the material is used as an end product.

The magnetic separator is used to separate metals from the feed material. All dust emissions are minimized with an advanced encapsulation and high-pressure water spraying system.

The TM0605 is a trailer-mounted, horizontal impact crusher designed to suit varied applications, including glass and rubble recycling and ash, coal, clay brick and rock crushing operation. The trailer-mounted TM0605 impact crusher is extremely versatile, and is aimed at new or smaller operators who do not have large budgets for capital expenditure and require small capacities. This includes small contractors, site clearing, demolition operations, and small aggregate and sand

suppliers in rural areas. The TM0605, which is capable of handling up to 35tph of throughput, is also ideal for hand-fed scenarios, and where there is a great deal of manual labour on hand.

The impact crusher is equipped with a heavy-duty fixed hammer rotor, three high chrome heavy-duty blowbars, Hardox 400 Brinell liners and impact plates, and a feed chute with rubber curtains. Its split and hinged upper housing makes for easy opening. The rotor is capable of speeds between 650 and 900 rpm and is able to handle feed material of up to 350mm in soft rock and up to 150mm in hard rock applications.

Mounted on two heavy-duty axles, the trailer has a front drawbar mounted to a slew ring for towing. The unit features a heavy-duty chassis with maintenance deck. The drive set consists of a three-cylinder, air-cooled Caterpillar C2.2 diesel engine, 7” manually operated PTO clutch, driving pulleys and v-belts. The engine features a key-start ignition and a simple engine protection system.

The unit can be operational within minutes of arriving on site and is a valuable addition to the Pilot Modular range.

The crusher is designed to perform and features hydraulic crusher gap adjustment, variable rotor speeds and automatic conveying relative to crusher workload, material and feeding type.
