Pilot Crushtec’s modern head
office complex is situated at 26 Yaldwyn Rd, Jet Park, a convenient 5
minutes form OR Thambo International Airport east of Johannesburg. It
is here where our innovative products are designed and manufactured in
our purpose-built facility. All manufacturing and fabrication
activities are outsourced.

The Pilot Crushtec premises are located on the edge of the
Carlos Rolfes Bird Sanctuary and the modern office block offers
employees and guests the ability to fully enjoy the surprisingly
beautiful scenery.

Innovative development of both stationary and mobile crushing and
screening solutions by Pilot Crushtec has led to phenomenal
growth since the establishment of the company in 1990. To meet this
new production demand, a contract for the expansion of the existing
factory facility, and for the building of a new factory at the Jet
Park premises was carried out by Abbeydale Construction at a cost of
R13,5-m. Construction work was completed in June 2007.

The expanded existing and new facility offers more space, which is
required for our assembly operations, our component storage, as well
as for a much enlarged spray booth. Four double girder 20t Demag
cranes were installed to offer greater lifting capacity, able to cope
with the lifting of our ever-bigger equipment. In the new factory our
cranes now have lifting capacities of up to 40 tonnes
.
The 5 000 m² existing factory was expanded by about 750m² and the new
factory provides an additional 3 700m² floor space, thus adding about
4500m² of extra space. Our spare parts sales and collection area is
also being expanded and developed to be more customer friendly.
Further developments on the premises also included the renovation of
an old farmhouse on the property into an additional modern office
facility, infrastructural upgrades to the roads and parking
facilities, a new entertainment facility adjacent to the office block
and landscape design.
